The capsule lingerie collection Encre de Chine from Hong Wai X Aubade : this season, Aubade has invited guest artist Hong Wai  to express her creativity and talent by giving her own interpretation of the luxury and the sensuality carried by the famous French lingerie house. They have developed, in colaboration, a very exclusive, unique, and top-of-the-line lingerie collection called Encre de Chine (litteraly China Ink also known as India Ink). Hong Wai is part of a new generation of artists who communicate their personal vision Chinese ink painting ancient technique. She's known to create extremely feminine and sensual designs, giving this traditional discipline a feminine twist by often choosing underwear as her subjects. This pioneering artist has conveyed here her own interpretation of the Aubade woman, adding  very delicate and feminine details and an exotic Far-East touch. Hong Wai was given carte blanche to create a unique floral motif, to be showcased on fine embroideries and refined lace. A luxury lingerie line of seven styles and shapes was born, using black and nude overall visual designs enhancing beautifuly golden bronze hints. Did you know using Chines Ink painting technique means once a line has been drawn, it cannot be changed or erased ? This is probably why through Hong Wai's confident gestures that produced a unique handcrafted design, this wonderful romantic lingerie collection came out so original and breathtaking, as a mesmerizing fruit of this unprecedented collaboration between two different worlds...
