How to choose your bra?

This may seem surprising, but many women don't know their bra size. However, you won't feel comfortable in a bra that doesn't match your measurements.

Your underwear is not suitable if:
- the band of your bra gapes.
- your breasts overflow from your bra. -
the straps or band of your bra dig into your flesh.
- your bra feels tight and restricts your breathing.
- the straps of your bra fall down even though you adjust them correctly.

To feel good in your lingerie, you need to take the time to calculate your size. Your breasts change throughout your life as a woman, when you become a mother or when you start a diet for example, so check your measurements regularly to be sure you are wearing the most appropriate bra.

How?
Get a soft, seamstress's tape measure. Ideally, you should be naked, but you can also wear a bra that doesn't alter the natural volume of your breasts. Remember: round up your measurements and if you're between two sizes, always choose the larger one; nothing is more uncomfortable than a bra that's too small or too tight.
To determine your bra size, you must take two measurements, making sure you're standing straight with your feet together, and making sure the tape measure is horizontal and parallel to the floor, neither too loose nor too tight to avoid distorting the measurements.

1. Measure your underbust circumference.

Stand up straight and place the tape measure under your breasts and wrap it around your bust. Keep the tape measure flat and parallel to the floor. Refer to the table below and find your size.

2. Measure your chest circumference.

Place the tape measure horizontally across your breasts and wrap it around your bust, passing through your armpits and shoulder blades to measure the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape measure flat and parallel to the floor.
Once you've measured, refer to the chart below to find your full bra size (with the letter corresponding to your cup size).

Practical example:
1. My underbust measurement is 70 cm. I look in the first table and see that my size to order is 85.
2. In the second table, I place myself in the 85 column. To find my cup size, I take my underbust measurement. It measures 87 cm.
3. My bra size is therefore: 85C.

How to position your bra correctly in 3 steps

1. Put your arms through the armholes and hook your bra. The vast majority of bras have multi-position hooks at the back that allow you to adjust the bra to make it tighter or looser. We recommend using the loosest hook first because during use, the bra will relax, giving you room to tighten it later.
A little tip if you have trouble hooking your bra in the back: place your bra upside down, hook it, and wrap it around your bust to put it back in the right position. Finally, put your arms through the openings. You will of course not have this problem with bras with hooks located on the sides or at the front of the piece.

2. Adjust the straps so they are the right size, neither too loose nor too tight, so that you feel perfectly supported. If the straps are too loose, they will not stay in place on your shoulders and your breasts will not be properly supported. If they are too tight, the cups will ride up unnaturally and you will feel cramped. Make sure the straps and back band are not twisted. Let the back band ride up on your back. If this band is higher than the underwire, it means the bra is not suitable for your breasts.

3. Test your bra to ensure it fits correctly. After putting it on and adjusting your straps, pull on the straps and the bra band as well as the sides to check that it fits properly. Make sure your breasts fill the cups. Lean forward to help position your breasts in the bra cups. Ideally, the underwire of your bra should sit just under your breasts, leaving no room for your chest to spill out. Once your breasts are securely in their cups, you may notice a rounded area sticking out of your bra above the cups. Smooth your breasts with your fingers, pushing it down until they fit snugly inside your bra.

How to choose your panties, thong, boy shorts?

How?
Take a flexible dressmaker's tape measure, stand up straight
with your feet together, and remember: round up your measurements to the nearest whole number, and if you're between two sizes, always choose the larger one. To determine your panty size, take two measurements, standing up straight with your feet together and ensuring that the tape measure is horizontal and parallel to the floor, neither too loose nor too tight to avoid distorting the measurements.

1. Measure your waist  by placing the tape measure horizontally at the smallest point of your abdomen, above your navel.
2. Measure your hip circumference , placing the tape measure horizontally at the widest point of your pelvis at the level of your hips.
Then refer to the table below to find your size to order.

Practical example:
1. I take my waist measurement. It measures 64 cm.
2. I take my hip measurement. It measures 98 cm.
3. I therefore choose a size 2 bottom.

How to choose your tights?

A good pair of tights will be forgotten throughout your day. To choose your tights well, remember this key word when searching: comfort!
