Erika Lingerie is, above all, a family affair.

A beautiful thing is a joy forever...

Our store tells the story of a family of 5 sisters raised harmoniously on the Isle of Beauty, united around the same passion perpetuated from mother to daughter for three generations.

The story begins in the 60s when Leria-Maria, the grandmother of the 5 sisters, a seamstress-corsetiere by profession, introduced the girls, from a very young age, to the art of sewing in her creative workshop. The girls discovered with wonder lace, silk and velvet by making, under the aegis of their "Mamone" (grandmother in Corsica), pretty clothes for their dolls.

Growing up, deeply marked by the memory of their grandmother, the sisters nurtured a real passion for feminine beauty and a taste for beautiful things. And when they left Corsica in the 1980s, separating with regret, it was quite natural that their career choices led them towards women's professions. In Brittany, Marie-Louise opened a craft jewelry factory while Leria started making leather clothing and accessories. Rosa, now living in Auvergne, specialized in wool. There she learned to card, spin and weave this noble material. Martine, for her part, opened a beauty care center in Provence while Mattea took over a women's ready-to-wear boutique in the Jura.

Even though the 5 sisters are thriving in their respective lives, they have a hard time coping with their separation and are pining for the Isle of Beauty. Nostalgic for their childhood and the time spent with their grandmother, they tirelessly admire the windows of the lingerie boutiques each on their own, fascinated by the precious materials and the elegance of the finery. Almost on a whim, they then decide to pool their know-how in a new project: the opening of a lingerie boutique in Corsica.

This project quickly came to fruition since a few months later in the early 90s, the sisters settled in Bastia to embark on a new family adventure. From this return to their roots and the joy of their reunion, a new lingerie boutique, Erika, was born, the culmination of a long-held dream, a true showcase in which they could express their creativity and taste for beautiful things. Much more than a simple store, the sisters created a universe offering women the opportunity to feel more attractive thanks to expert advice from a lingerie designer who would guide them in the best way to wear high-end underwear made from popular materials, according to their body shape and personality.

The 5 sisters give their heart and soul to the well-being of their customers by always pushing the personalization of their advice further and trying to perfect their mastery of corsetry. These are also the keys to the success of the store which has managed to build loyalty among a local clientele of all ages. A new bet, but a successful one: the Erika store is today the No. 1 lingerie store on the Isle of Beauty.

In 2015, Erika Lingerie turned a new page in its history and launched its online store in order to continue its story beyond the Mediterranean and to continue to grow.
